There are just three points separating the top four teams now in Totnes and District Snooker League division one after defending champions Ivybridge A were held to a 3-3 draw by title contenders Regal.
Steve Pound made a break of 34 on the way to winning both frames for visitors Regal, who drop down to third in the table.
Ivybridge B moved up to second just a point behind their clubmates with a 5-1 away win at Halwell H.
Ivybridge looked on course to record their second whitewash of the season until Paul Gilbey snatched a point for the hosts in the final frame.
Halwell H remain above Totnes who stay rooted to the foot of the table as they went down 5-1 at home to Dartmouth. Dartmouth captain Phil Harris knocked in a break of 32 as his team climbed up to fifth in the table.
Halwell B dropped down a place to sixth despite a battling 3-3 draw at home to Woodlands.
Woodlands remain just three points behind leaders Ivybridge A in fourth place thanks to Steve Cairns who won both his frames.
Division two is shaping up very nicely now with just four points covering all seven teams in the league.
Mill B leapt to the top of the table replacing Halwell C who they beat 4-2 at home. A break of 22 from visiting captain Edward Wilton was not enough to see off Terry Moore of Mill who won both his frames.
Kevin Wreyford put his new cue to good use by picking up one of the frames for the former leaders.
Diptford remained in the middle of the pack as they drew 3-3 at home to Halwell K. Visiting captain Chris Reeve has hit a run of form lately and showed his team the way with two wins.
Mill C played out a tense 3-3 draw with clubmates Mill A. Luke Beard continued his imperious form this season with two more wins. The game was delicately poised with the C team 3-2 up going into the final frame, but Jeff Buckley snatched a draw for Mill A on the final black, winning by a single point.
Mill C and Halwell K then played their rearranged fixture from earlier in the season, and for the second time in a week, Mill led 3-2 going into the final frame – this despite a superb break of 30 from visiting skipper Chris Reeve.
With the unbeaten Luke Beard on the anchor leg for the hosts a 4-2 win looked more than likely, but Martin Reeve, inspired by the performance of his brother earlier in the match claimed the final frame and secured the draw for Halwell K, moving them off the bottom of the table in the process.
Next week’s division one fixtures see Halwell B v Ivybridge A, Ivybridge B v Dartmouth, Woodlands v Regal and Totnes v Halwell H.
In division two, Mill A take on Halwell G, Diptford are up against Mill B and Halwell K play Halwell C.
