As an 80-year-old, I tremble at the thought of my future health provision here in Dartmouth. If I become ill, where do I go?

Will there be hospital beds in Dartmouth, or will I be ­unceremoniously dumped in Totnes, Newton Abbot or ­elsewhere?

My wife doesn’t drive and the local bus services are ­inadequate. This is a great worry to all us ‘oldies’.

The absence of information on the subject of hospital beds and other facilities engenders no confidence whatsoever.

Could we please have some answers and perhaps some sign of leadership?
