Alex, a former Plymouth Argyle youth player and a popular member of Kingsbridge Community College's sixth form, was killed in the early hours of Sunday. Family and friends from Kingsbridge, the surrounding area and as far away as the Dominican Republic have paid tributes to the teenager from Aveton Gifford. Dad Alexis Peguero Sosa posted on Facebook: 'So cruelly in the early hours of this morning some selfish person took the life of my handsome son. I love you son with all my heart forever. Your heartbroken dad xxx' One friend, Jack, posted on Alex's Facebook page: 'Never without a smile on your face, always make you feel better about life and stresses! 'Not in a million years could I have imagined this happening to such a person, a person with so much life and spirit that everyone admired! 'A little piece of Devon is gone forever, just a collection of shared memories that will be cherished always. I'm going to miss you Alex Peguero.
