Salcombe Dairy celebrates continued Southwest expansion with new Bristol parlour and makes a splash back home with its one-of-a-kind Ice Cream Launch.

Salcombe Dairy is celebrating another exciting chapter in its growth, following the successful opening of its newest ice cream parlour in Clifton Village, Bristol, while continuing to invest in exciting new experiences closer to home.

The family-owned business officially opened its Clifton parlour at 30 The Mall on June 19. Opening its doors during one of the hottest weekends of the year, the new shop welcomed hundreds of customers eager to cool down with Salcombe Dairy's ice cream, with the team even selling out on just the second day.

Designed to evoke the nostalgia of traditional seaside holidays, the parlour draws inspiration from the timeless stories of Enid Blyton and other beloved children's authors, creating a warm and welcoming space where visitors of all ages can enjoy a memorable moment together.

Alongside its well-known ice cream, the shop also offers Salcombe Dairy's bean-to-bar chocolate and indulgent truffles. Visitors can also discover the immersive 'Rainforest Room', a whimsical space available for private hire for children's parties, family celebrations and other special occasions.

Sam Green, Shop Manager at Salcombe Dairy Clifton, said: "It has been a great start, with us completely selling out of ice cream on just our second day. We've had such a warm welcome from the Clifton community, both from local residents and neighbouring businesses. We're really looking forward to becoming part of the neighbourhood and the wider Bristol community."

The Clifton opening follows the launch of Salcombe Dairy's Bath parlour on the iconic Pulteney Bridge last summer, bringing the company's ice cream and chocolate to one of the city's most recognisable landmarks while extending its presence beyond Devon.

Back in Salcombe, the business's newest venture is the Salcombe Dairy Launch - a traditional estuary launch transformed into a one-of-a-kind ice cream and coffee stop. Serving ice cream and hot drinks daily from 10am to 4pm throughout the summer, the Launch can be found on Mooring 103, near the fuel barge, offering the perfect stop for those exploring the estuary by boat or paddleboard, or anyone looking to enjoy a treat from the water in one of the town’s most idyllic locations.
