Young Farmers have swapped their wellies for a win on the stage.

The Kingsbridge Young Farmers have worked tirelessly over the last couple of months to put together a pantomime of Jack and his Multi-coloured Beanstalk for the annual YFC pantomime competition.

The group competed against clubs from Dartmouth, Ivybridge, Tavistock and Newton Abbot to finish winning the overall competition on Saturday, January 20. Now Kingsbridge Young Farmers have now been put through to represent South Devon at Exmouth in the next round on Saturday, February 3.

The YFC Member of the Year competition was also held on the same day with Kingsbridge collecting the top three prizes. Liv Haddy finished first, Kelly Wakeham Second and Alice Endicott third with Liv also winning the trophy for the best actress of the day.

Matt Darke played the role of the Mother the Dame and Liv Haddy played Jack alongside the rest of the cast including Alice Endicott, Phil Rogers, Amy Evans, Rich Rossiter, Harriet Haddy, Kelly Wakeham, Gareth Lee, Simon Walter-Symons, Tom Haddy, Toby Baldry, Tom Darke, Lynda Allen, Lily Tucker, Izzy Heath, Steph Lee, Jess Baker, Ollie Shute, Charlie Jarvis, Will Haddy and Dan Caunter.

The show would not have been possible without the help of Kate Shute and Eric Stidston as producers and SJ Baker for costumes.
