A TEAM of doctors, nurses and admin staff from Norton Brook Medical Practice took part in the River Dart Struggle.
A mixed team of ten members of staff from the Kingsbridge surgery took part in the challenge, which involves a 14km race in a raft, made by each team, from Buckfastleigh to Totnes down the River Dart.
The event supports Devon Air Ambulance, Children’s Hospice South West, Totnes Caring, Chernobyl Children’s Life Line, ShelterBox and War Child.
Dr James Mottram said: ‘The event helps raise money for local charities and we would like to thank the many people who have helped us raise over £400 to date for the cause.
‘The sore limbs the next day were a small price to pay for a very enjoyable day out on the river Dart and we hope to rise to the challenge again next year to raise more funds.’
