Jackie Jarvis, of Kingsway Park, Kingsbridge, writes: Incredible! Mr Mason moaned when the school lights went up and, in last week's letters, is now moaning because they've had to come down. I wonder if there would have been a problem if the lights hadn't had to have those silly baffles, which I assume were added because of the light upsetting some folk. When I heard this I assumed pupils were playing noisy ball games throughout the night, but they weren't. Personally, if lights outside upset me at night I draw my curtains. I think any taxpayers' money that keeps these kids fit and healthy, playing their chosen sports and off the streets, is money well spent.
