A South Devon man accused of assaulting a man in Kingsbridge will face trial later this month after his hearing was postponed.

Keiron Williams, 27, is accused of assaulting Mark Giles on Montagu Road on March 27, 2026.

Mr Williams appeared at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on March 30, where he pleaded not guilty to the charge and a trial was originally scheduled for September 15.

The trial was adjourned for an undisclosed reason and is now due to take place on September 29.

Mr Williams has been remanded on conditional bail until his next hearing and is prohibited from having direct or indirect contact with the alleged victim and one other person.
