EYES down brought a winning profit for two charities.

Devon Air Ambulance Trust and Rowcroft Hospice have each received £435 from Dartmouth Guides Grace Chapman and Emilie Frost.

The girls ran a bingo evening at the Guildhall as part of their Baden Powell Challenge.

They are both members of the 1st Dartmouth Guide unit.

‘We would like to thank everyone who supported us on the evening and to all those kind people who donated wonderful prizes,’ they said.

Grace and Emilie will be going to Foxlease, the Guide training centre in the New Forest, to complete their final challenge in two weeks’ time.
