Pupils and staff in a South Hams school have taken part in Jeans for Genes Day.
Pupils at West Alvington C of E Academy came to school wearing jeans on Friday, September 21, as part of Jeans for Genes Day, the annual fundraising event for Genetic Disorder UK.
The pupils and teachers raised £40 for the charity that aims to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by genetic disorders.
Jenny Rayner, Learning Academy Partnership administrator, said: “The academy decided to take part in this national charity event to help raise awareness and support those children and families who are suffering with rare genetic disorders.”
