We have received reports that a diversion around resurfacing work in Kingsbridge is causing chaos.

Roadworks are taking place below the footbridge leading to Church Street in Kingsbridge, and a diversion is sending people down Wallingford Road.

This is causing problems due to cars parked on both sides of the road and a traffic jam has been created.

If possible, we suggest turning right at Stumpy Post Cross from Totnes direction and coming at Kingsbridge from the other side, via Sorley Cross.
