Suzanne Whiting, of West Park, Stoke Fleming, writes:
I write to record my sincere thanks to Dartmouth businessman Chris Tracey of the engineering firm Floair.
We met outside his factory when my friend and I were trying to find a tyre company to deal with a potential puncture.
He recommended TTS Services in Totnes, phoned it to check it had the required tyre in stock, and gave us perfect directions, all without being asked.
When reading the Chronicle later in the day, I was delighted to read of Chris’s suggestion that the remaining funds of the failed Dartmouth Business Improvement District be used for charitable purposes in the town.
Given the debacle of the BID, which I have had the displeasure to read about in the Chronicle over many months, this is an excellent suggestion.
It is so pleasing to realise that Dartmouth still has such a considerate person in its midst.
Thanks very much, Chris.
