Devon Air Ambulance is looking for volunteers to man its new shop.

The Devon Air Ambulance is seeking volunteers to staff its nineteenth charity shop. The new shop will open in Dartmouth this February.

A spokesman said: “It will be a replica of our very popular vintage and variety shop in Topsham. We have a lovely assortment of mirrors, paintings, linen, books, music, jewellery, shoes, hats, handbags, toys and of course bric-a-brac.

“The only thing we are currently missing is a family of wonderful volunteers to help make the shop a success. Here at the Devon Air Ambulance we understand people have very busy lives but a couple of hours is all we need to make a huge difference.

“This opportunity would suit anyone who would like to get out of the house, make new friends, or do something worthwhile, all whilst having fun!. We really do appreciate any amount of time you can offer. Whoever you are, you’d fit in just fine! Ms Jones said “Our volunteers are an invaluable part of our team and ensure we remain truly rooted in the community we serve. If you have a couple of hours to spare, we would love to hear from you.

“We appreciate you may have other commitments so we welcome flexible volunteers who do not need to commit to a minimum amount of time.

“We have a variety of rolls to suit everyone such as, box collecting, giving talks, attending cheque presentation, assisting in our charity shops and attending one off events.”
