A fire crew from Greenbank were called to extinguish a car fire in Yealmpton on Thursday afternoon.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: “The car was well alight on Hillside Drive when the fire crew arrived, they used to water and foam to extinguish the fire.

“The driver was safe and not hurt, and was going to organise the removal of the vehicle.?

“The cause of the fire was accidental,” the spokesman added.
