IN this week’s Totnes Skittles League action, the Offcuts prevailed over TRFC after the pair were all level heading into the final end.

Darren Lee (91) and John Watson starred for Offcuts in their 475-436 win and TRFC’s Dan Paul has 98.

Wrecks dominated their game against Wasp and despite the latter’s fight back, the former still came out on top, winning 432-403. Les Steer top scored with 95.

Wizzards were firing on all cylinders as they beat Woodpeckers 497-479, a 59-end setting them on the right path. Woodpeckers had a 60-end as they looked to respond but the win evaded them. Duncan Chapman had a 96 for the Woodpeckers and Kevin Murch hit three figures with 101 for Wizzards, Adam Stolworthy close behind on 90.

Angela Worth led the Odd Weston’s charge with a 75 as they won 269-248 against the All Stars. There were no spares but Odd Westons dominated all the same.

Di Davis’ consistency held off the Alley Cats as they tried to battle back against her Gems, the latter winning 298-274 thanks, in part, to her 90. Diamonds started off strong with Ruby Hollett scoring a 14 on the first end and going into the second end, Jane Hingston scored a double flopper of 23, the first one of the year.

A slow decline followed though and they were beaten 300-258 by Fordetts, scoring a 42 on the last end to win by 42.

Emily Stolworthy had 87 for Fordetts and Marion Feltham scored 70 for the Diamonds.

Lastly in the Totnes Skittles League to Outsiders 320-289 win over Meadowbrooks.

Meadowbrooks started strong with two spares and a 44-end but their opponents matched them all the way and eventually came out on top.

Emma Challis had 81 for Meadowbrooks and Margaret Saxon 86 for Outsiders.
