DARTMOUTH moved on from their ton-up hammering by Ivybridge 2nd XV in the best way possible by winning 39-0 away to Plympton-Victoria.

Wyatt Matthews crossed twice for Dartmouth and there were single scores for Jaxon Liam Hitchcock, Richard Seymour, Ronny Hensman, Jonny Felton and goal-kicker Will Varney.

The game ended 10 minutes early due to a combination of poor weather and Plym-Vic running out of replacements.

The player situation at Norton seems to be improving as 21 have made themselves available for this Saturday’s South Hams showdown with Salcombe in Devon Two South & West.

Other results across the county saw New Cross defeat arch-rivals Newton Abbot Spartans 26-12 in a Devon Two derby that lived up to expectations.

Newton Abbot’s 1st XV fared better though, making it two wins from two at Rackerhayes as they dispatched Devonport Services 2nd XV 33-17.

In Devon One, Tavistock suffered a 59-0 whitewash against rampant leaders Plymstock Oaks.
