Salcombe Rugby Club is celebrating the success of its new junior rugby sessions after a great debut season.

Little Nippers is rugby – simple and fun play sessions for two- to four-year-olds which teaches the skills needed to catch, pass, kick, and run with the ball; the sessions also encourage the children to respect each other.

Little Nippers’ Leah Coles said: “We have had a great first season, it’s been so wonderful to watch them all improve every week and I’m amazed they stuck it out whatever the weather, turning up with enthusiasm ready to play and learn.

“We are very excited for next season and look forward to welcoming some new faces to SRFC.”
