Bigbury Golf Club

It has been a very soggy week at Bigbury Golf Club writes Sally Errett.

With the rain, mist and fog there has been next to nothing in the way of golf competitions.

We will hope for better things next week. To add to our woes I am sad to report that William Hill (Bill) passed away a week ago. Bill was behind the bar for a number of years.

He joined Bigbury Golf Club in 1995 and left in 2014. For many of those years he was club steward, and he will be remembered for his smile and twinkle in his eye.

His funeral will take place at 1.15pm on Friday, February 16, at Efford Crematorium and all are welcome.
