Dartmouth AFC hosted the Dartmouth and District Pool League finals night on Wednesday, April 18.

Dan Drury of the Market House was crowned singles champion, edging out Pat Hipkins of Dartmouth AFC in the final.

The winners of the doubles championship were Paul Pope and Raul Martinez of the Market House, with Gary Lobb and Phil Langman of Dartmouth AFC finishing runners-up.

The Market House were victors once more, as their A team overcame Dartmouth AFC A team 5-2 in the final of the team knockout Old Ken Cup.

The Market House A team also finished as league champions after only losing one game all season, once again Dartmouth AFC A team finishing as runners-up.

League officials Ryan Hoare and Paul Pope would like to thank Dartmouth AFC for hosting the evening, and Joyce Wadeson and Buster Stirk for keeping all competitors fed and watered during the night.

They would also like to thank all teams, pubs, landlords and landladies for another well-supported pool season, and look forward to another successful league for 2012/2013.
