CONGRATULATIONS go to Totnes Bowling Club men’s ‘A’ team who have completed their season winning Division Three of the MDL by over 20 points from their nearest rival.

The success of course means promotion plus the men’s teams also made it through to finals and semi-finals of the ‘Top Team’ competition and the ‘Foxlands’.

Although the Totnes ladies team had a disappointing SDL season, they did very well in other competitions by reaching the semi-final of the 4321 Challenge Shield. They also competed in the Grace Matthews Trophy and the Inter Club Tournament.

Totnes Bowls Club men’s ‘B’ had a mixed bag of results finished mid-table in the MDL fourth division. Club members also competed in a variety of other competitions with mixed teams in the Riviera League, the Over 55’s League.

The club also entertained a variety of other clubs in some 26 friendly matches throughout the season with a mix of results but with great fun had by all those who took part.
