A strong drying wind meant this cup quarter-final was able to go ahead, facing an unbeaten Morley side.

Allington started brightly but couldn't find the breakthrough, their best effort a Steve Weeks header tipped over. Just before the break, against the run of play, the visitors took the lead.

Allington felt if they carried on playing the way they were, chances would surely come. It wasn't long before this proved to be the case and they equalised with an excellent goal.

Simon Hannaford played the ball into Chris Jebb, who backheeled it to Ben Robey, who drilled it home. It was Robey again who gave them the lead, heading in a Tom Harvey corner.

With only minutes remaining Dom Farley burst down the right and his cross-cum-shot sailed over the 'keeper's head and in off the far post to book their place in the semi-final.

This week they face Newton 66 at home in the Dartmouth Cup quarter-final, 2pm kick-off. The reserves travel to Chudleigh for a 2.30pm kick-off, players to meet 12.45pm.
