ANNETTE ROSSER, of Crowthers Hill, Dartmouth, writes:
Reference your front page headline ‘Weeds are threat to blooming glory’, Chronicle, July 1, it is surely not surprising, as we have so many roads where, like Crowthers Hill, we have only 10 full-time residents out of 56 houses.
Considering we have so many steps, old cobbles and small brick pavements in the town, the fact that we have so few road sweepers and those who do live here are either working or elderly, the end result is weeds.
One could also consider what sort of impression our foreign visitors get?
