Ex-Kingsbridge Community College student Catherine Reeve married ex-KEVICC student Richard Acton in Halwell.
The couple were married at St Leonard Church, Halwell, on Saturday, August 5, after meeting at Bristol University. They had their reception at Stanborough Farm, owned by Catherine’s parents, with a marquee looking over the farm.
Catherine, daughter of Robert and Helen Reeve, is a primary school teacher in Locking, Weston Super Mare, and Richard, son of Roger and Anne Acton is a business analyst in Bristol. The couple live in Worle, north Somerset.
The couple’s friends, Callum Browse and Helen Woodley acted as Best Man and Bridesmaid while Zach, Lucas and Alfie Reeve were Page Boys and Chloe Reeve was Flower Girl.
The following day Kingsbridge Young Farmers Club held a cream tea afternoon in the marquee, as Catherine was a keen past YFC member. Ten members did a great job serving many teas. The event raised £850 for the YFC club and the new YFC hub at Cheriton Bishop.
