Well, they're here again!
Why is it that the people most able to afford a Range Rover Sport, or a 7 series BMW, head for us with a congenital inability to drive them?
I had the misfortune to follow a caravan owner to Totnes last week who dealt with all oncoming traffic by coming to a complete stop.
I was behind the ubiquitous BMW driver on the way home.
At no point of his leisurely journey back to Salcombe did this clown achieve 30mph, despite having the automatic transmission provided for those people who find a manual gearbox a challenge.
The majority of people who live and work down here can drive – and park – with a degree of competence. The majority of visitors cannot.
Might I suggest the train?
