A major route through the South Hams is set to be closed from later this month.
The A379 will be closed for 12 days between Modbury and Aveton Gifford between April 24 and May 5.
BT Openreach will be carrying out ‘pole replacement, overhead and underground cabling, tree cutting and excavation to clear blockages.’
The official diversion will run via Dartington and Totnes.
