We lead on an impassioned plea for more to be done for young people with regard to affordable housing in Dartmouth and the surrounding area.

Our main picture shows Stoke Fleming Primary School head teacher Paul Giradot after he had completed the London Marathon – and in doing so raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

We flag up two stories inside, one the about the amazingly lucky escape of Dartmouth farm worker Jason Hutchings, who fell of his tractor which then when on to wreck a cattle shed; the other about the passing out parade at Dartmouth’s Britannia Royal Naval College, where His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, Kingdom of Bahrain, took the salute.
