STUART ROSTRON, of Ford Road, Dartmouth, writes: Former councillor Dave Cawley was to the forefront at the recent town council meeting in objecting to the miserly £3,000 grant for our well-respected and national award-winning tourist information centre. However, he produces Dartmouth TV, a website some see as being in direct competition to the one published by our TIC. Should he not have declared a conflict of interest and been excluded from discussion? Happily he will now no longer be able to use membership of the town council as a vehicle for knocking the ­information centre.
