SALCOMBE Town Regatta has seen fun and games in and on the water as well as around the town as visitors and residents get into the regatta spirit.
The annual event got under way with the fun run at 8am on Sunday August 5.
Numbers were down on previous years but brave souls turned out in the awful weather to take part and four dogs also enjoyed the run.
The fun continued with the family water treasure hunt and parachuting teddies from the town's fire station.
The pavement drawing competition was judged by local artist Bobbi Fulcher-Smith. Regatta Treasurer Ann Thompson said: 'there was a fantastic turnout for the pavement drawing, we ended up running out of space.'
The harbour swim was another early start for this taking part on Monday morning.
Attendance was very good but unfortunately one of the swimmers
