A HEARTBROKEN pet owner has offered a £500 reward to anyone who can find her beloved dog.

Jacky Malone of Furzehatt Road, Plymstock, lost her dog Rooney in November but says their have been positive sightings in the South Brent area over the past few months.

Jacky says she is 'truly heartbroken' at the loss of her Manchester Terrier.

Rooney, who is black and tan in colour and looks like a small doberman, is also micro chiped and neutered.

Jacky had a heart attack last year and has also had three operations for cancer.

Rooney was lost when he was frightened by a noise and ran off while out for a walk.

Posters have been put up in every village in the area, as well as in shops, schools, churches and vets, but he has still not been found. Rooney has a kidney and a gland problem and needs specialist food and medication.

Jacky said: 'The worse thing is Rooney not being there when I come home.

'Every day I wake and think of him and it breaks my heart. Someone must know where he is.'

Jacky's friends and family have raised a £500 cash reward.

If you think you know where Rooney is or think you may have seen him, please help Jacky by contacting 01752 249443 or contact the police on 101, quoting log refrence JC/12/6.

Jacky and her friends and family would like to thank the hundreds of people who are looking for Rooney and are in constant contact.
