Four candidates vying for seats on Totnes Town Council are hoping to win the votes of electors at the polls tomorrow.

The polling stations open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday November 4, at the Civic Hall in Totnes and at Follaton House.

John Cummings (Green Party), Jill Hannam (Labour), Jess Kermode (Totnes Progressive Group) and Neil Lochhead (Independent) are battling it out for two seats on the Totnes Town ward.

Their manifestos cover a wide range of local topics from promoting green spaces and tackling the climate crisis, to wellbeing, housing, young people, drug laws and even championing a funicular railway in the steep town centre.

But which of these burning issues has each candidate pledged to tackle?

Find out in tomorrow’s copy of the Totnes Times, where we outline all four manifestos so you can make an informed choice when you visit the polling stations to cast your vote.
