As I understand it, those in charge of the future of Dart­mouth and Kingswear Hospital decided to close it before securing a binding deal on the proposed River View facility.

Is it any wonder then that the offer they made for a lease on River View was subsequently rejected, and isn’t that stupefyingly reckless mismanagement?

Isn’t it the ineptitude of those negotiating the deal which MP Sarah Wollaston should find “incredibly disappointing”, rather than the conduct of River View’s owners, as reported in your newspaper’s May 11 edition?
