In this week’s Gazette, we lead on a story about the future of public loos in the South Hams as decided by the South Hams District Council executive committee last Thursday.

Pay-to-pee plans will be introduced at six public toilets in the South Hams, while a further 10 could close.

Our picture story is of Erme Primary School in Ivybridge deciding ahead of the town’s harvest festival service to support the town’s food bank.

Inside, we have details about what supermarkets are doing to help those in need this holiday season, as well as the latest thoughts on Brexit from South Hams MPs Sarah Wollaston and Gary Streeter.

As usual there will be the ’What’s On’, around the clubs, and ’Village Voices’ sections inside.

If you can’t get to the shops, or you have moved out of the area, you can get all South Hams Newspapers online here: http://www.southhams-today.co.uk/subscribe.cfm.
