Dave and Anne Lewis, of Lower Coltscombe, Slapton, write:

We are extremely concerned with the holiday park development planned for Lower Coltscombe in an area of quiet unspoilt woodland containing much wildlife and many wild flowers. This woodland also includes a stream feeding directly into Slapton Ley and is within the area of undeveloped coast.

In relation to the two access roads – narrow lanes – one of which floods very regularly and can be impassable, they are just not suitable to accommodate this large development.
