The Kingsbridge Classic Car Show was “manic” with people on Saturday, with a 1929 Swift stealing the show.

David Hamner, organiser, said: “It was very good indeed, it was manic, the weather was fine and the turn out was fantastic. We had more than 65 cars on show and lots of visitors.”?Organised by the Kingsbridge and Salcombe Chamber of Commerce for the people of Kingsbridge and business owners, the event saw hundreds of people turn up on the Quay to show off their cars of all different ages.

Asked about his favourite car in the show, David said: “There was a 1929 Swift, owned by Mr Luscombe, it was unrestored and in its original state, it was amazing. In the end it won ‘car we would most like to take home’, after a really good day.”
