A man has been released on police bail while inquiries continue into alleged indecent exposure at Slapton Sands on Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to memorial car park around 2pm after a report of a man standing in the open doorway of a camper van exposing himself in front of young children on the beach.
A 55-year-old man from Totnes was arrested on suspicion of offending public decency and was taken to Torquay police station for questioning.
A police spokesman said he was later released on bail until Thursday, October 8.
