A number of Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust staff at the Dartmouth Health and Wellbeing Centre, River View, have launched a new Facebook page.

The Facebook page, launched on Monday, September 4th, was created to help raise the profile of the centre and what services are available to residents. The site will include regular updates on information and services available, announcements, events and will also include some great stories, all related to health and social care in the area.

Lee Baxter, Assistant Director Community Health and Social Care Services (Southern), said: “We are delighted to launch the new Dartmouth Health and Wellbeing Facebook page, as the services we provide in the local community have increased and we want to make sure residents know where to go to find out more information.

“With social media becoming more and more popular, it made sense to “move with the times” and develop a page that could reach a wide variety of local people, and enable them to join in and engage with us.”
