SJ Dowden, of Rectory Lane, Stoke Fleming, writes: It's small wonder that the Stagecoach Gold service is being cut due to a lack of ­passengers. The service departs from Dartmouth 25 minutes after the 93 arrives in Dartmouth from Kingsbridge and arrives in Dartmouth three minutes after the same service has already departed for Kingsbridge. We can only hope that when the new Gold and X46 ­timetables come into force, and the X64 service is extended, that the services make some attempt to link in with existing transport links, like the 93 service connecting Dartmouth and Kingsbridge at one end and mainline trains leaving Totnes at the other.
