Perhaps we could remind ourselves of the good things, which our membership of the European Union has brought us – peace in Europe for the last 70 years for a start.

It’s directives have brought us clean rivers, clean beaches and clean air.

It has banned growth hormones and other harmful additives to our food, and the harmful chemicals, which are killing our bees.

It has provided help for areas of industrial decline and it has been our most important trading partner – I could go on.

Brexit is a disaster.
