Sue Black, of Newcomen Road, Dartmouth, writes:
I felt I had to write and say what a joy it is to drive along College Way at the moment. The daffodils are so beautiful. So thank you to all those who in the past few years have planted all the thousands of bulbs. It must have been a tedious and back-breaking task.
I would also like to say how good the almost finished shelter on Coronation Park is looking. The Old Dartmothians do a wonderful job; the two fountains in Royal Avenue Gardens are brilliant too.
Long may they continue – the fountains and the Old Dartmothians.
And while I’m about it, could I say – better late than never – how good the Christmas tree looked this year. It was a lovely shape, stood straight up and was nicely lit.
