I have lived in Kingswear all my life and I am now tired of the letters concerning those who are opposed to the small play area in Jubilee Park.

I believe Kingswear residents were robbed of our right for an election in May.

If Cllrs Essex, Henshall or Payne are so convinced of their convictions, all resign and let us, the electorate, have a vote.

I attended two of the three public meetings and the overwhelming support was for the play area.

Stand down, resign and let us decide.
