The front page of your August 11, edition just shows how unsuitable visitor centre director Cllr Gina Coles is for both positions she holds.

Due to her arrogance, she has not paid any attention to the wishes of the residents, and through ignorance, adopted a ritual intended to bring “good results”.

From the same error, those who wish for misfortune to a person or event can expect to suffer similar in due course.

So due to ignorance, the result was, she has brought shame on the town council and all those residents and visitors who got so much pleasure from the Woofstock UK dog festival are disgusted at her attitude.

The way the event was organised, and the way the site was left afterwards was faultless. So congratulations to Heather Nesbitt and, on behalf of most of Dartmouth residents, thank you.
