Congratulations to South Hams Council for approving the wonderful Woofstock festival day for Dartmouth next year.

It is a shame that apparently a few are still objecting to it.

I am sure they are genuinely not aware of how excellently the Woofstock days have been organised and run in previous years, when they were held in Dorset. Dartmouth is such a beautiful venue, the visitors – and their dogs – will bring extra trade and publicity for the town, not forgetting the funds that will be raised for deserving charities, such as Animals Asia and local charities.

A good time will be had by all.
