Francesca Johnson, of Swannaton Road, Dartmouth, writes: Yet again Dartmouth has enjoyed another amazing regatta, delivering a truly memorable 170th anniversary event. Despite the challenging weather – and the fairground issues – the regatta committee has once again soldiered through and overcome all obstacles. This wonderful team of volunteers work so hard and I am sure that many people do not appreciate how many hours and how much dedication they deliver for the good of the town. And it was great to see the new pop-up stalls in the tented shopping village helping support our local traders. So on behalf of everyone, who had a brilliant time last week, please could I convey a huge well done to the whole committee.
