Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a 12-year-old girl was punched in the face by a woman for squirting people with a water pistol in Dartington.

The incident occurred at around 7.15pm on Friday May 29 outside Pizza Side on Totnes Road.

The girl, who was with her friend, had been squirting members of the public with a water pistol when the woman took it off her and punched her in the face.
