The driver of the Stagecoach double decker bus that overturned in Totnes and left dozens of people injured is due to stand trial on June 1 2021.

Twenty-year-old Kameron Allan of Paignton denied 10 counts of dangerous driving during his first appearance at Plymouth Crown Court this afternoon.

He has been charged with causing serious injury by driving a Stagecoach Gold double decker bus dangerously on the A385 at Longcombe Cross, Totnes on October 5 2019.

Allan, who was 19 at the time of the crash, spoke only to confirm his name and age, and to plead not guilty to all charges.
