A lorry and a car collided near Torr Quarry Industrial Estate on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened at about 5.20pm between Borough Lane and the entrance to Torr Quarry on the A381.
The lorry blocked part of the road, and the car ended up on the grass verge.
Kingsbridge police confirmed that nobody was trapped in the vehicles. Both drivers were breathalysed and neither were found to have been over the limit.
An ambulance was called after a woman complained of back pains, but no serious injuries were reported.
The road was cleared and re-opened at 6.15pm.
