South Hams international swimmer Tegan Drew was celebrating a triple success from her trip to Africa for the school summer games.

Tegan was a part of the England team which flew out to Casablanca, Morocco, to compete in the recent Gymnasiade School Summer Games, taking on swimmers from 18 other countries in the International School Sports Federation-organised competition. Tegan, who lives between Loddiswell and Aveton Gif­ford, attends Plymouth College on a swimming scholarship and swims with the highly rated Plymouth Leander Club.

In a brilliant performance, Tegan picked up silver medals in the 50m and 100m backstroke and bronze in the medley relay.
