On a very cold Sunday morning, the girls of the KAN High Five under-11s netball team played in the Torbay Junior Netball League in Paignton, winning all four of their matches.

Early nerves were soon ­forgotten by all of the players, with brilliant communication and quick passing. The ball moved swiftly down the court between all of the players and, in turn, resulted in an amazing score rate.

Jessie Friend, Abi Lethbridge, Charlie-Rose, Ella Patterson, Lydia Watson and Erin Jackson all worked together to win against four different teams.

KAN Coach Jules McColl said: “I’m so proud of these players. Their results were amazing and they all worked really hard to accomplish this fantastic result.”

Jessie and Charlie-Rose were voted players of the tournament, but the teamwork from the whole team was excellent.
