SDFL division six
Kingsbridge and Kellaton 4,
Teign Village 3
Another three points gained by Kellaton after an unconvincing display.
After a defensive mistake put Village ahead by one, the Ks soon woke up.
Luke 'Lukey' Harvey raced on to a through ball and, beating the oncoming 'keeper, made it 1-1.
Rob Lee was next to score from the penalty spot after being brought down.
2-1 up now and playing well, a let--off after Village missed a penalty helped.
Ks started the next half well when Chris Thomas got a flick on from a free kick and Elliot Bradbury hit a fine shot from an acute angle to give Ks a 3-1 lead.
Bradbury then latched on to a good ball only to be felled in the box, gaining a penalty he soon put away.
Ks now should have pushed on and finished the game but for some reason they imploded, giving Village far too much room and allowing them to run at them with ease.
Their normal passing game had gone out the window, seemingly unable to pass to anyone in black and white shirt.
Their lack of composer allowed Village to dominate the last 20 minutes, scoring two unanswered goals.
Not Ks best performance but, as they say, a win is a win. Man-of-the-match goes to Elliot Bradbury, who looked very sharp all game.
