This game just shows how far Dartmouth Hockey has come.
The young members of this team have come in this season and have played some really good hockey.
Gone are the days of getting the ball to the forwards, Dartmouth ladies are playing the ball with some confidence and getting their just rewards.
This game started off fast and furious by both sides and it was a game of intense pressure, with neither team wanting to go a goal down.
The Cougars didn't make it easy for the Dartmouth ladies and Dartmouth gave as good as they got. The deadlock was broken with twelve minutes on the clock and it went to the Cougars.
From that the Edwards sisters, Chloe and Siobhan, stood firm and stopped the ball coming through Dartmouth's stubborn defence.
It was a last-minute first-half goal from Dartmouth's scoring machine, Lucy Pillar, that evened things up.
A pass from Sarah Barrett went to Lucy, whose reverse hit went into the back of the Cougars' net. with the half time whistle blown it was time for both teams to regroup.
Dartmouth started off the brighter in the second half but a Cougar quick break caught Dartmouth off guard and within eight minutes of the restart the Cougars were in front again.
Dartmouth, undeterred, started getting through the Cougars' defence.
Lucy Pillar picked the ball up from the half way line dribbling past the Cougars' defence to smack the ball into the back of the net.
Dartmouth, now back on level terms, got the bit between their teeth.
From the Cougars' push back, Dartmouth put the pressure on and pushed the Cougars back into their defence.
Lucy Pillar picked the ball up again, spreading the ball wide to Jamie Rendle then to Lisa Hunt.
From there it went to Sarah Barrett, Lucy Pillar then Sam Webb, who slotted the ball past the Kingsbridge 'keeper.
Dartmouth, now in front, didn't want to let this game slip, but a controversial decision took control away from them.
The umpire adjudged a Dartmouth player blocked the ball with her foot inside the Dartmouth D and Kingsbridge were awarded a penalty flick which drew the game level.
Dartmouth ladies would like to thank Dave Duffy, who sponsored the game, and Julie Pillar deserves a mention as well.
While having a well deserved drink and some food at the Sportsmans Arms, a customer started choking and Julie Pillar slapped him on the back, releasing the foreign object stuck in his throat.
Lucy Pillar was given player-of-the-match award, a well-deserved slap on the back for her as well.
Dartmouth are in action again this weekend when they travel to Dawlish for another league game.
